| Haguewood Park is located at 282 Pinegrove Road, Pennington, AL. The park can
be used by citizens of the Town of Pennington 7 days a week. The park opens in
the morning and can be used at night because of the lights in the park. If you

It’s Official
Quincey Ross (center), business manager of fiber and utilities for
Georgia-Pacific’s Naheola Mill, cuts the ribbon officially opening the new
concession stand at Pennington’s Haguewood Park. Joining Ross are (L-R)
Pennington Police Chief Paul Johnson, Council Members Sandy Carpenter and Grady
James, Town Clerk Teresia Cherry, Tracy May and Council Member Sherry Webb.
Georgia-Pacific contributed $25,000 for construction of the new concession stand
with restroom facilities to help the town attract more entertainment activities
for area children and families. The ribbon cutting launched Pennington Day
events held May 7 at the local park.
